"CHINAMAN CREEK" - a locally produced film produced by Shandy Whitaker and janet Liu Terry will be sreened at the Tanks in conjunction with the Chinese exhibiton. CHINESE NEW YEAR STREET FESTIVAL - GRAFTON ST Saturday 9 February 2013, 4.00pm to 9.00pm
Join the Chinese community as it celebrates the Chinese Year of the Water Snake with a colourful street festival in Grafton St, once the heart Cairns Chinatown. The program will include vibrant Chinese music, dancing, art and cultural displays, chidren's activities, face painting, food and market stalls. Not to missed: the spectacular Chinese dragon parade, traditional lion dancing performed by CADCAI's youthful performing arts troupe, firecrackers and an aerial fireworks display over the CBD.
